Another copycat

Love these posts by Maggie and Amy so decided to do my own.

Things I want to do in the next six months:
1. Cook a (healthy) homemade meal weekly.

2. Use our fresh herbs weekly. Make these raspberry, mint and motz skewers from Biscuits and Such



3. Write a hand-written note weekly.


4. Take a yoga class.

5. Start learning to embroider or quilt.

6. Design Thanksgiving cards to send to friends and family members who have supported our family this year.

7. Tell someone thank you every day.

8. Go through closet. Donate things to goodwill. Make Kev do the same!

9. Make a lamp out of a wine bottle. (image from Pottery Barn)


10. Create homemade gifts to have handy for friends and family birthdays.

11. Teach (or get helping teaching) Cocoa not to bark at other dogs on walks.

12. Get something to grow in this (inside). Any advice?


13. Expand jewelry collection - especially earrings. I wear the same ones pretty much every day.

14. Make a budget... and stick to it!

15. Take better care of myself. take vitamins. eat more fruit. wear sunscreen. buy a straw hat (make sure to budget for it!).

16. Learn how to use Maggie's camera.

17. Archive and back up photos and important documents.

18. Finish three more master's classes, with pretty much only my thesis to go!

19. Get better organized at work.

20. Live in the moment.

  2. maybe a little fern - your mom loved them so much! they grown in or outside as well. love you! for some reason, reading your blog always makes me cry - even on stuff that isn't necessarily emotional....weird.
